Strictly not a Bollywood film (although it is an Indian/UK co-production). Shot entirely in London and the dialogue is predominantly English for starters. It's the true story of a woman charged with killing her husband after 10 years of domestic abuse.
I felt it was alright but could've been so much better. My problem is that the film felt really bland and it shouldn't be, considering its subject matter. The drama was fairly one-dimensional and even the structure was a little too generic. I quite liked Naveen Andrews in this.
Touching story though and positive message to women (about not suffering in silence).
Slash & Grim, check it out if you's get the chance. Lemme know what you's think.

Re: Provoked (Aishwarya Rai)
Actually I'm hoping to check it out this weekend, wil post back, I have heard mixed results, some people say it really good, and some like yourself say it a bit boring, or bland. Not a big Ash fan, but the subject and movie sounds interesting.BiscLimpkit wrote:Slash & Grim, check it out if you's get the chance. Lemme know what you's think.
