Anyone seen this? I was expecting it to not glamourise hooliganism and football violence but I was surprised to discover that it totally does. Well it manipulates you into thinking that there is a lot more to yob culture than starting fights; there's an underlying theme of standing your ground.
Of course we all know the sad reality - chavs will start fights just for the sake of it and it has sod all to do with brotherhood.
But for the sake of a film, it was well made and fun to watch, despite its absurd ideas. The storyline is simple and fits nicely into a 105 runtime. You just have to ignore for a second that the entire concept is dumb... kinda like the Last Samurai - that was stupid but we all loved it anyway.
