Two-Disc Special Editions triumphs over the 1998 version. And that especially goes for the extras.
I'm back AGAIN.
Film grain is a good thing dammit! Say NO to DNR/EE!

Agreed, the original has a sharper appearence.

I've seen that kind of look on a lot of other WB SE I think it's either because of the EE on the original release or they are using noise reduction. Nevertheless the PQ is much better.

An excellent release all around. One of the best treatments of a single film out there. The extras are candid and highly entertaining. And even a 45 minute documentary on the history of Batman! Can't be beat!

The Batman Returns SE is a huge improvement in framing and overall picture quality too, although the extras aren't quite as hefty they're still excellent.
