Slasher Comparision - The House By The Cemetery Comparison

Hey All, thought it was too long before I make a comparision so here is mine. I am comparing Anchor Bay (R0) version by the R0 Holland - (EC Entertainment - Ultrabit). EC boast a brand new transfer from an the 35mm, so lets find out which is the better version:

Anchor Bay on Top
EC Entertainment - Ultrabit on Bottom

From the above, I would say Anchor Bay has better lighting, more natural.

Ultrabit is way too bright here, again Anchor Bay has the natural look for me in the gloomy movie

There is a pattern here, oh yuck to the EC Ultrabit.. Anchor Bay much more pleasant and nice

Ultrabit has too much of a red hue around the image. Not nice..

Again too much redness around the image, Anchor Bay is better here

So that it, Really the Anchor Bay has better image. The only think that Ultrabit has got is an extra with Interview with Lucio Fulci at EuroFest '94 and a very cool coverart for the dvd. Looks like the original poster.

Anyway enjoy this, and if you do disagree, then please voice it

Anchorbay takes it. The other looks like a cartoon in the 3rd cap.

Indeed, and that why it is on Ebay now
