Ghost Rider...

...sucked.
It's not like I went into this flick expecting great things, given that this is a Marvel film, it's directed by Mark Steven Johnson, and is based on a comic book that's not that great, to put it mildly...but damn I wasn't expecting it to be that bad. Quite possibly one of the worst films I've ever seen, perhaps the worst. I'd rather watch Batman & Robin...a film that at least is somewhat enjoyable has the pure eccentric camp that it is.
I know a lot of people gave Johnson a lot of leaway with Daredevil since the studio screwed him over with the theatrical cut and with the overall production. Tom Rothman is Satan as everyone knows. But he has no excuses for this monstrosity. He had a $120 million budget, an extra 6 months of post-production, and everything that a filmmaker could want at his disposal...and this is the shit he churns out?
*Sigh*
Thank Valhalla that DC is still giving superhero films credibility with Batman and Superman because god knows that Marvel is single-handedly destroying this genre with their exceptionally shitty run of films. Only X-Men, X2, and Hulk are worthy films from the recent run of Marvel feature films.
