Picked up issue 2 of the new magazine "Neo" here in the UK, and they have a review of the upcoming HKL Warrier Collection boxset on page 74.

Of great interest is the closing comment which mentions that Optimum will soon be releasing Jet Li's The Swordsman 2 !!

I thought Miramax owned Swordsman 2 ??

So did I weird. They do for sure on R1 I guess they don't on UK R2.

I wonder how it will compare to the HK remaster.

Well, knowing how they have released their movies before I expect a badly translated subtitle (they won't bother working on a new subtitle) that is hardcoded. I don't know about image format. Could be anamorphic but with hardcoded subtitles the company is crapping on their releases. Last time it was Azumi and that DVD was even encoded to hell.
