New Yash Raj DVD out. Is it like Veer-Zaara or what? Caught a teaser on youtube, which looks interesting...

LOL, need to comment here, Fanaa is very good, the 1st half is a love story, the 2nd half is okay, bit of a letdown. However this is Kajol comeback, and man she does look pretty. I prefer Kajol over Ash anyday, Kajol got that something in here. What more can you say about Aamir Khan, another superstar in Bollywood, all of his movies are watchable

Have you seen his last great movie - Rang De Basanti? It is very very good, on par with Dil Chanta Hai, about friendship

What's wrong with the 2nd half that is a let down?

You say it's "very good" but it sounds just "ok"...... It's an original story right? Not an adapted screenplay (i.e. ripoff).

I like the poster for it - reminds me of Yimou's "Hero"

The 1st half is a nice love story, however the 2nd half goes a bit downhill, bit too much action, not enough love for me...

It is an original story, about terrorism.. Songs are nice

Just for you Bisc, I rewatched this movie, the 1st half is excellent. Likeable Aamir Khan with Kajol, they have such great chemistry, but after the intermission and the excellent twist, the movie completely changed and fall downhill.

The following is completely spoilers

1. Kajol family are muslims yet they drink while still being completey innocent
2. What the point of Tabu in terrorism squad, she has nothing to do with the movie, just look pretty and very pointless
3. Nothing it said of Kajol friends in the 2nd half, yet in the 1st half they are everywhere

It's just look likes the director wanted to make a love story, then thought sod it I've just watched 24 and want the indian version of that...

This could have been soooo much better with Aamir and Kajol.... Lets hope Yash Film do a better movie and do a bit of research...

My advise, better to watch Fiza (Hugely superior to this) or mission Kashmir
