For those who don't know Zune is Microsoft answer to the Ipod Video:

It looks better than I'd been led to believe. It's cool to hear the radio has RDBS (known as RDS in Europe). Annoyingly we won't see it in Europe until 2008
It's still too big and software dependent for me though, give me a 8-10Gb UMS Mini any day.

* UMS = USB Mass Storage - It's what all card readers use for example, the device appears as a drive letter. I love it as no software is needed period to get music on to the device. You just drag and drop without any silly syncing (some Creative Labs you can drag and drop but software/drivers still need to be installed first).
* Mini = Ipod Mini size. I prefer Mini (or Nano) size to full on MP3 players.
Both are just my opinion, please (generally speaking) don't start replying saying why I'm wrong. Which is usually the case when I say such things.

The correct term is MSC, Mass Storage Class.

What? Nope it's UMS. I've never heard MSC before but UMS stacks of times. It has another name too but I forger it.
I suspect both are correct, but UMS is definitely also correct.

UMS is as correct as WTF. MSC is the term for the standards used in these devices. UMS is not an official term.
