It looks very good. I loved the Three Colours Trilogy, and most French films actually.

Thanks

Haven't seen it, but Daniel Auteuil and Emmanuelle Beart (who is smoking hot, easily on par with Monica - do a google image search) are very talented actors. Try to see L'Enfer (Danis Tanovic - 2005; aka Hell, the 2nd film in Kieslowski's Heaven, Hell, Purgatory trilogy) and The Double Life of Veronique, superb films.

Enough said. I will right now :D

EDIT: WOW she is stunning, sharing that same luminosity as Monica Belluci (although I'd say Monica is more stunning, that black hair my god).

I've heard very good things from this too. There are too many great French films.

TDLOV is best from Criterion which makes it expensive (actually the UK effort is virtually the same price anyway) so while I'll pick it up it won't be right now.

The guys here really love this:
a) Emmanuelle Béart is the most beautiful woman on earth. And she has the most ridiculously sexy voice. She is also an incredible actress.
b) Daniel Auteuil is one of the greatest actors in the world.
c) This movie is flawless. Every shot, every line, every sound, every look, every cut, and the way the story unfolds - it is all perfect. Some might find director Sautet's direction a bit cold and clinical, but Beart and the music brings a passion into the story. This is easily in my top five of best movies ever. I'm not sure how many times I've seen it; at least ten, probably more like fifteen.

See L'Enfer too. Oh and watch La Haine, instead of martial arts tosh.

I've only seen one Béart film (Manon of the Spring) and loved it.

Will try to watch Un Coeur en Hiver. Looks nice.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".
