Overlap comparison of the bad cropping during the opening scene

Image

So we have established the opening scene is cropped to shit. But if you look past that major problem you can see a
wonderfully colourful and highly detailed digital transfer that instantly beats out the original transfer. More image
pop with less lines and dirt. The MPEG compression is perfect with hardly any major problems.

Recommended:
UE

Disgusting cropping. Cheating bastards.

It does look better though chroma-wise.

Much better image, shame about the cropping.

Not particularly noticeable when watching, but it is in the above comparisons.

Well Tanya's makeup looks better in the UE cap - can't belive I used to fancy her!

Both look awful. The cropping is "REALLY" extreme and the UE has a severe sharpness issue.

I'll take the Special Edition

I'd still give her one. :)

I prefer Allison Doody as Jenny Flex - well, of course she is!

Tanya looked disturbingly young next to Roger Moore

I suspect she was half his age. Lucky bugger!

The only time Bond has actually REJECTED a girl's advances?
Yeah, you're probably right.

Come on guys, this is a DVD comparison, not a Bond-girl comparison :P .

He rejected the hot(ter) one in Licence to Kill.

She does indeed.

He turned down Lynn Holly Johnson too

Bond did them both. Brad, do you actually watch these films?
Ivan Drago wrote:He turned down Lynn Holly Johnson too
In Bond's defence she was supposed to be 16. I don't think any of the actors would have gotten away with porking a jailbait. :D

Yeah in LTK he does both but at the end he decides to go with Pam Bouvier instead at the party

Agreed Lupé is hotter.

Who did she play?

Yes and when? I'm not a Dalton fanboy like you :D (LTK is good but overrated, even if it's miles better than some other Bonds).

You don't have to be a fanboy to FOLLOW THE STORY!!!!

Bond does Pam on the boat after the barroom brawl, then later Lupe in Sanchez's own home. That takes balls! :D

So he does, do Lupe as you put it. He still turns her down at the end though, but then you're a Dalton fanboy so exam and remember these things :D

Is that before or after the bit with the dragon?
