Hollywood maybe but tbh not American cinema, subtle difference.

The King for example is a recent American film as is The Three Burials of Malaquadas Estrada or whatever it's flipping called

p.s - As for this the title says it all.

Hollywood is currently on it's sick bed. American cinema might be on the verge of it's 2nd Renaissance - with talents such as P.T. Anderson at work and high calibre films like Good Night and Good Luck, Capote, Brokeback Mountain.

I noticed that they'll be parodying Borat and Nacho Libre... haven't they learnt by now that spoofing comedy doesn't work?

Especially since Borat is itself a parody/spoof. Daft IMO.

The days of wine and roses are long gone. The great spoof films:- Airplane! 1&2, Naked Gun 1-3, Kentucky Fried Movie, have already been made.

this is america's no 1 at the box office.
