First off - yes Man U did play better. Yes it was a soft foul that lead to the goal. But then Man U got a soft foul that lead to the penalty (which they missed :D ).

In these games, skill, possession and all those other statistics mean nothing, it is the final score that matters the most, and that is where Celtic did fantastically tonight.

Top team in England at the mo' versus the top team in Scotland, both after having suffered embarrassing cup losses recently, and the top team in scotland came out on top!!

Well done to Celtic, finally getting through to the second stage of the champions league!!

It may not have been pretty, but Celtic got the result they were after. I think this does show that Celtic could do well in the Premearship. Read quite frequently people stating that Celtic would be mid table at best, but in all the matches in recent years Celtic have had against English opposition, they've lost 1 that I know of and that was against Man U this year. They've beaten Man U at home, lost away, drew with Liverpool at home, won away, won against blackburn at home and away... still that is all jsut talk from me too as they'll never get to play in that league. Purely from a football point of view it would be great if they could though!!! The 2nd best supported team in britain finally getting good competition every week!
