Memories of Murder

Finally got round to watching my Korean R3, which has been gathering dust for months. Yup I should be kicking myself for not having seen this sooner... it's another Korean gem.
It's a murder mystery based on actual events - a series of unsolved murders during the late 80's. This left me with a chill once the credits started to roll. The suspense, drama and pacing were incredibly intense, executing a gritty story with stunning photography. It is fascinating to see the 'good' cop being pushed to the edge.
Memories of Murder got a UK theatrical release IIRC. Anyone know who the distributor is? If they do a good job with the UK DVD then it's time to upgrade, oh yeah.

wow! amazing how they can fook that up so bad! morons!
Its an amazing film and maybe in my top few Korean films and I cannot wait to see it again asap.
I will keep my superb Limited Edition Korean dvd set myself and say hope them tossers who have messed up the UK dvd go bust soon! (OPTIMUM ASIA!)

Hmmmm... how I love the book with all the storyboards, he he he!
Awesome film for which I have written a long review, which again is stored in my other hard drive to which again I have no access at the moment. D'oh! And I'm not going to write it again because as I remember it was a very well written review. Hail to me!!!

...Romero, I just found out on Debate (and you just confirmed it), that Optimum released this in the UK...
These guys are the chavs of DVD distribution... providing cheap treatment of movies and their staff always wear burberry (actually I made that last bit up but it may as well be true). Woe is me and the UK population...

The thing is they have done a nice dvd of Switchblade Sisters (Haute Tension) so they can do it when they want to, but really 2.0 for a film which has DTS in other countries is a joke! and its also quite sad really too

Just watch it and get off the bloody internet! you will cry! its that good! wasting time on the net costs you films not watched.
