Infinifilm edition is better. The original had a lot of red in the image making the dream sequences more warm than a creepier blue hue (cap 2 and 5.) Also, the detail is definately better as visible in capture 4 (The bed frame behind Freddy) and capture 3 (the bubbles.)

The cap of Freddy on fire is better on the 2006, but otherwise there's not much in the way of improvement. Yes, the 1999 was reddish, but now it's blueish, and I'm not sure how accurate that is? I think I'll have to check my uncut tape.

...and what makes you think that your tape is accurate representation of what the colours are intended to be?

No remastering. It's from the 80's so will represent how the film looked theatrically. The Fox tape was taken from the UK cinema print.

Is the new release uncut or is it still missing the shot present on the UK tape but not the DVD
