Park Chan Wook has started filming Kind Ms. Keum Ja (rough translation). This may be the third work in director Park's Trilogy of Vengeance, following Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Old Boy. Production is scheduled to be completed by March 2005 and the film to be released in Korean theaters sometime in June.

From KFC. Aye, that's the thing. I remember hearing rumours about Park's final film in the revengre trilogy being called Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, essentially being similar to the first film but with a female role... this could well be it.

Here's hoping it'll be sweet.

Third part in the revenge-trilogy, I know, but again imprisonment? I hope Park surprises us again.

I guess Old Boy is part 2, but none are linked in any way really other than the same director.

Was a behind trhe scenes special over here on tv the other day...Showed a bit of filming in the ssubway station, taking the poster photos and a brief interview with director/actress...

Slated for a JUNE release here...

On another PARK note...It was LUNAR NEW YEAR this week here in Korea...loads of movies on tv....They even showed OLD BOY...BUT THEY SHOWED IT AT A 9pm TIMESLOT..Lets just say the movie was MUCH shorter..and usually obscured by optical censoring..what was the point!!!!!
