BnB Premiership Season 06/07 Fantasy League

Post by degeneration »

I've set up the BnB Fantasy league for the next season..

http://fantasy.premierleague.com

code to join: 46719-11314

Got my team sorted for now... will no doubt change a bit! Want Henry, but getting the rest of the team in and affording him is bloody difficult! Just got no clue who this years bargain stars are likely to be!!

Hmmm... it seems quite hard to get a decent team together. This is what I came up with:

Keepers:

Cech
Niemi

Defenders:

Terry
Ferdinand (the little one from hammers)
Aurelio
Lee
Sommeil

Midfielders:

Jenas
Reid
Reo-Coker
Rochemback
Davis

Forwards:

Keane
Rooney
Davies

Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, so I'm bound to make some changes before the season starts. Also, something to take account into, is that Liverpool & Arsenal have no game in gameweek 2.

Here's my team - was very hard to pick though:

1: Warner (Fulham)

2: Terry (Chelski)

3: Carragher (Liverpool)

4: Chimbonda (Wigan)

5: Sommeil (Sheffield Utd)

6: Cahill (Everton)

7: Lennon (Spurs)

8: O'Shea (Man U)

9: Spring (Watford)

10: Henry (C) (Arsenal)

11: Walcott (Arsenal)

Subs

12: Van der Sar (Man U)

13: Young (Charlton)

14: Cattermole
(Boro)

15: Zamora
(West Ham)

This might change though!

Ok, you guys have posted your teams, so here's mine as it stands just now. Changed a little cause there being no liverpool or arsenal games in week 2.

1: Van der Sar MU GK
2: Queudrue MI
3: Carragher (C) Liv
4: Stalteri TH DEF
5: Gamst Pedersen BR MID
6: Ronaldo MU MID
7: Osman EV MID
8: Cole J CH MID
9: Bellamy Liv ATT
10: Bent D CA ATT
11: Davies BW ATT

12: Lee WA GK
13: Osano RE DEF
14: Sommeil SU DEF
15: Oster RE MID

The above is editted as I did change my squad. Took out Kromkamp of Liv and Brown of MU as figured both of them aren't dead cert starts, replaced them with Quedrue and Carragher. Also took out Rosicky of Arsenal and put in Ronaldo of MU. Want to see if Ros. gets a frequent game first. Think he will, but with Arse not playing in week 2 decided to leave him out. Also took out Rooney and put in Bellamy. Think Liverpool will do well against Sheffield, so hoping Bellamy scores a few. Would rather have Rooney as think he will do well to, but couldn't afford him!

OK... here's my team:

Defence: Cambell, Terry, Eboue

Midfield: Park, Mikel, Cahill, Boateng

Forwards: Van Persie (C), Kalou, Rossi

Subs: Swarzer (GK),Lee , De Zeeuw, Mullins

edit: I changed my team from a 4-4-2 to a 3-4-3, because of Tottenham's first away game, so I subbed Lee for Rossi.

Damn I had a bad week. I cant believe Van Persie started on the bench. Wenger is such a dick at times. Also too bad Rossi didnt play and Kalou only played 15 minutes orso...

Kalou is a new guy for Chelsea so wouldnt expect him to start immediately. I mean I didnt think Walcott would start for Arsenal. Was surprised he came on.

I thought I had a good week considering I had 20 points at one point. In the Metro Fantasy game I've only got 4 points WTF? Henry gets a grand total of 0 points because he didnt score :?

This BnB league is much better

Well, noticed the transfer wildcard thingy, and remade my team from scratch. Bought players who did well this weekend in hopes of making some money that way.

Dunno if that was a wise thing to do.

"You can play 1 transfer wild card a season. All transfers made in the Gameweek your wild card is played will be without points deduction. You play your wild card when confirming transfers."

edit: and you can use the "fantasy stats" from the right side menu to see which players have been transferred in the most. Those players should have a pretty good chance to increase in value.

My current team:

1: Van der Sar
2: Terry
3: Mellberg
4: Bridge

5: Lampard
6: Bowyer
7: Arteta
8: Campo

9: Zamora
10: Saha (C)
11: Kanu

12: Kenny
13: Campbell
14: Eboue
15: Parker

I'm thinking of putting Solksjaer (sp?) in my team now... 2 goals on sat, VERY cheap... just don't know if he is going to get a consistent game...
He might be good as one of my subs though... gonna have to think about this one!!!
