I'll leave it I think Cooey - I'm happy with just the first one which is excellent :D I'd definitely rebuy it if a proper SE was released.

LOL, this is a proper SE

Or do you mean idf it was released individually?

I love the first, didn't particularly like the second, not even seen the 3rd yet, but what can I say, I'm a completest :P

Oh sorry Cooey, I meant if they were released individually I'd re-buy The Matrix SE (R1, naturally for uncut-ness). :D ;)

I'm the same Grim, the first is excellent the second two far to bloated and therefore pretty rubbish.

They both very much felt like one film but with all the deleted scenes etc . . . left in. If they'd chopped 60-90 minutes out and released 1 sequel it would have been fantastic. This I'm sure of, both showed great potential.

As for the set if The Matrix SE gets released separately I'm all over it otherwise I'll stick with my R4.

All 3 films are worthwhile and all very good all 4 stars for me and contain some amazing action sequences which realy are gobsmacking and in the cinema blew my fooking head clean off! they loose a lot on a small screen all 3 films needed to be seen massive!

The set couldnt possable be any better from the sound of it, apart from some proper commentaries! WANKERS!

I spent 26 quid on the set and its a steal, as I auctioned all my Matrix dvds off and made way more than 26 quid thats for sure:)

DTS would round it off too! But that's not going to happen.

You rate the sequels the same as the original, interesting.

Sure I agree the action in Reloaded was decent but that's about all it had going for it. Revolutions had lots of explosions but no hand to hand combat so didn't even have that to save it, i.e - the explosions I'd seen all before.

I did enjoy Reloaded more on the second viewing but ultimately IMO it's still tosh.

I think the Reloaded Trailer is better than the film :) in fact its one of the best trailers ever made :) I think the 1st film is the best, then part 2 then 3.

I saw part 1, 2 times in cinema :D

The problem with part 2 and 3 is that the directors were too busy trying to get the right water affect rather than working on the story. Somewhere between the millions and Joel Silver they lost their way.

Number 1 is just class. It has everything but the most important thing is that it had a story and heart.

I still will be buying this though as I dont yet own a copy of the Matrix.

I completely agree Wolf except your last sentence.

The daily Romero quote

That it just nuts, a trailer that is better than the film but the film still gets a 4 out of 5.

The Trailer is amazing! some trailers are soo exciting they amp up your excitement to unbeleveble levels, your saying you have never been gobsmacked by a trailer! I am sure I have many, many times and still do once in a while!

and that was comparing trailer to film on excitment levels silly boy, obviosuly I would rather watch the film than a trailer, its a term of expression. :D

Of course but if a trailer is better than a film. I'd not give the film 4 out of 5.

Well, it WAS CD-WOW, you would pick it up for around £33 (with the use of the 10% off voucher and £1 off voucher), but now I'm not sure.

Romero got his from DVDSoon for £27 I think he said, but he has also been stung by customs for £9

I've had similar problems with CD-wow before on pre-orders whether DVD's or CD's. I've stopped using them for pre-orders too unreliable.

IMO at the end of the day it's not like the delay is long and besides most companies don't bother to let you know!

True, but I wanted this in time for my birthday, and it aint gonna happen now

The delay is like 9 days after the release date.... for CD-WOW that is very bad!
