X Factor - battle of the stars

Post by grim_tales »

Some of the people on here truly could not sing at all and sounded awful - but the money raised goes to charity which is the most important thing I guess :)

Gillian McKeith (You Are What You Eat) had guts but she really couldn't sing, preferring to shout/talk her way through the Etta James classic I Just Wanna Make Love To You. She has a face like a burst couch.

Whoever decided to make Uptown Girl a song for people (sung by 4 chefs including Jean-Christophe Novelli and Paul Rankin) should be shot - they were appalling too - like drunks at a wedding IMO. They were out of tune and "danced" very badly.

James Hewitt and Rebecca Loos - bloody hell... again, bad move for making Addicted To Love a duet, all James did was TALK through the song - Loos was pratically bursting out of her dress.

However, I was impressed with Matt Stevens (rugby player) who sang Mack The Knife, he was actually rather good, Chris Moyles (!) wasn't bad either! He sang (Ain't that A) Kick In The Head - another swing/jazz song.
Full marks for attempting dancing I guess, though it looked a bit odd :D

lol grim, we watched this last night, purley for the judges remarks...

but i agree gillian mckeith, lol! she hates louis and its funny...and of course she sings like someone has their hands round her thraot...

the thing with the chefs you gotta admit was funny....although painful at the same time. the have guts tho....

hehe the remark sharon o said to loos, hehe that made me laugh so hard.

i think most of them just sucked, the model sounded like a man trying to be a woman...

chris moyles was suprisingly good, bit too egotistical, but funny lol

by the end tho i was pretty bored by it, these charity shows suck, yeah they raise money but they'd raise more if they didnt haave to pay the stars to do this stuff

Yeah... I'll be needing some good quality pics of that before I'll believe you! And throw in a box of tissues as well :D :D :D

She's pretty damn hot, even though I wouldnt trust her as far as I could throw her (which wouldnt be very far...)

Agree Shen, Chris Moyles made me laugh  Did you notice Simon didnt look happy when Chris said he was a better dancer than Chico :D
I wouldnt say Loos is hot, she looked very fake last night IMO.

Agree about the chefs having guts though, in the end its not about singing ability but charity and fun :)
What did Sharon say to Loos? I didnt see that :?
The Gillian McKeith image was so disturbing I need some time recover.

sharon said something about that she should wear knickers it would warm her voice up. then it went into a kind of slanging match where simon was sat their laughing and louis was sat like his usual slack jawed idiot expression..

My god, James and Rebecca Toilet were horrific tonight, I've heard better singing from a screaming cat :D.

But the look on Sharon's face at the end when Becca didn't thank Sharon.... looked she was ready to kill Becca

Isn't it common courtesy?
I don't get why Sharon hates Loos so much, is she (Sharon) mates with the Beckhams or something?
MLAM I missed last nights show, who was sent home?

It is common courtesy yes IMO but as Sharon was slagging her off so badly she didn't say thank you to her, though James Hewit did thank Sharon though but the audience were laughing/clapping so it was a bit muted to Home Viewers.

As Shen says, Gillian McHeath got booted out last night, rightly so too as she was fecking awful!

If you must hear it Grim I can uplaod a sound clip if you like :D
