I read this and thought that it should be more immersive. Unless those flowers are actually going to be in the scene, I can't see it working properly. If it was done in context with the image on screen, then that I can see potential for.
I would imagine the smell of smoke and used explosives would be a good one to sniff

God, imagine smelling Hard-Boiled!

hmm that would be weird go to see a cheap comedy with people farting all the time...euw...

but yeah i agree besides the above point it would be cool if it was in-line with the movie.
