Seni06 Film Festival Birmingham

Post by BiscLimpkit »

They are showing Tom Yum Goong and Banlieue 13.

Mordib, you could go?

Gordon Liu will be there, you could try and get a high-five off him... unless he counteracts it with a slap to the face.

I might try and make it to the Leeds one this year. I usually go to the Edinburgh one (which is excellent) but I've found that Leeds shows some rare little gems.

Plus I can get a flight from Aberdeen to Leeds.

The following films made their debut in Leeds:

Cutie Honey
Ghost in the Shell 2
Steam Boy
+ a whole lot of cool Asian films...

Usually we had to wait like 1 or 2 years for the DVD.

Mind you, I'm sure a couple of amateur students managed to get their films in the lineup.
