the libertine release dates

[Mordib]

Johnny Depp, John Malkovich plus a whole bunch of other famous names, i understand this film didnt do very well even though personally I loved it.

So Ive been waiting patiently to be released on dvd. I've watched as every othr mainstream film that was out in the uk cinemas at the same time has already been released yet no word about the Libertine.

Well ive just done some research, it is being released...in May. Thats about 2.5 years after it was made....

The reason as near as I can gather is that it got released in europe WAY before the US, but unlike films that get released in the US first they have delayed the dvd release worldwide to coincide with the american markets timescale.
