I thought Yimou was going to direct another martial arts film next to complete a pseudo trilogy?

Uhm, "The Road Home" is about a woman who falls in love with a teacher. "Not One Less" is about a village girl who goes into the city.
All of these synopsises do not sound really interesting as they are stories from everyday life. However, Zhang Yimou is known to make the most touching stories out of everyday life inspirations.

Road Home is excellent Grim. The DVDs are bare-bones unfortunately but the AV quality is gorgeous. It's only about 85 minutes long so oodles of room for a high bit-rate.
It's also particulary interesting when you see how far Zhang Ziyi has come. £6.99 -

True but we've seen those films we've not seen this. If all I knew about Road Home was "a woman who falls in love with a teacher" I'd say the same.
You made it out to sound like the best thing slice bread was all.
