Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

Post by grim_tales »

Should this be bought/seen before seeing Sympathy for Lady Vengeance? :) I have seen Oldboy already. :D
I understand the Tartan CE (with DTS and 5.1) can be bought cheap.

I have the HK disc and the Tartan. Personally, I am more satisfied with the Tartan. It has great subtitled extras.

BTW, I think a film like "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" does not need any DTS. It's more suitable for "OldBoy", but not for "SfMV".

Not necessarily. These two movies aren't linked in any way.
But I still think it's better to watch Mr Park's work in the correct order:
-JSA.
-SFMV.
-Oldboy.
-SFLV.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

I havent seen JSA. :) Is it any good (awaits floodgates opening) :D

Oops, I should have said I HAVE actually seen SFMV (I had the old Tartan DVD) but traded it, but I have seen it. I don't want to buy it JUST to own it if its not necessary. :)
