Fistful of Dollars/Few Dollars More sound question

Post by grim_tales »

To anyone with the German SE boxset:

Did anyone notice when switching between the German and English mono tracks on the fly that the opening theme is played at a higher pitch in the German track? :? On the English tracks the pitch is lower.

Why would the pitch be different if Germany and UK are both PAL? :?

I have the German set, I'll watch it in the weekend and report back to you. Can't do it sooner, since I have an assignment due and an exam to study for.

Eva have you checked the sound yet?
Weren't the German and English tracks from different sources? Maybe thats the reason.

The music sounded more natural to my ears on the English mono track. (BTW, the mono tracks were done by the German company. The 5.1 mixes come from MGM.. I think).
