How many cash back sites are you with Romero?
Posted: 07 Jun 2008, 16:06

Just the 2 at the moment

Quidco and the above, they seem to cover the majority of the best sites

I am sure a few more are out there with other companies on their lists.
As long as I can save a few % off things I buy it makes me happy

Thanks. I guess there's quite a lot of cross over. Which has the best customer services? No I've not asked that question before

Never had to use any customer service yet

I noticed that my eBay cashback wasn't appearing on Quidco, and I've just looked and found that eBay is missing from their site list, so I guess they're not part of the scheme anymore, shame.

CD WOW still don't sell BDs (really) but even without that, what the fuck has happened to their DVD prices?
Check out there so called Bargain section:
http://www.cdwow.com/movies/BargainBasement
The prices are some of the most expensive on the Net.

CD-Wow suck ass. I used to order from them all the time. Haven't gone near them since the revamp. They could go out of business for all I care now. Damn shame.
£14.99 for an R2 of Mean Girls? WTF?? It's been £3 in Virgin and HMV for eons. Bargain basement, my arse!

I noticed that too, those "Bargains" are laughable, I dont think they organised that part of the site properly.

Cool, thanks Grim.
Does anyone know if the DC is better, worse or indifferent? I'll be getting the BD which I think is the Theatrical Cut

.

I'm not sure if that DC is the HK DVD though or some cheapo Chinese one, £8.99 seems very cheap for 3 discs and a brand new release...
I havent seen the TC yet so will hold off for now.
Brad what did you think of the TC?

by bradavon
I've not seen it. I'm not interested in the DVD and HK BDs cost loads. It's a HK SE btw.

Oh, right. Quite a good price then. I have some CD vouchers to use (seem to be getting random ones all the time now).

Hey,
Red Cliff £11.99 (OK maybe not a bargain) but I was looking to get this too
http://www.cdwow.com/Red-Cliff/product/view/3785191
I think I'd enjoy it as I've liked the HK epic films I've seen a lot but I'll read some reviews.

If its the same as the TC why is it called a DC?

Well here they call the release a director's edition, not cut
http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.547 ... etails.htm
same running time,127 minutes as the normal release as well.

Interesting, thanks. As Grim says, it shouldn't be called Director's Bloody anything then.

Charade - £2.99 with £1 off:
http://www.cdwow.com/DVD/Charade/product/view/18750
I got a £2 voucher so looking to spend it on something but CD-WOW prices are so bad now.

Be careful almost all Charade DVDs are shockingly poor quality. I used to own one of them. You need the Criterion to get it decent quality. Thanks though.

I think that one has the Criterion extras but is non anamorphic. Surely its worth a go for 99p/£1.99?
Is The Seventh Seal any good? I might get one of the UK Shaws DVDs if I dont get Charade.
