£17.89? seriously? jeez. It must be in the top film of all time to you, for you to splash that sort of cash on it.

Don't be stupid. That's what it costs, if you want it, you have to pay that but yes it is an excellent film. I've been looking since March for it cheaper, it's just not happening and given how specialist it is, I cannot see it changing any time soon, if at all.

You paid £25+ for Resident Evil German DVD, when it was available much less elsewhere. So stop talking bollocks.

That was before I was a net master at finding everything cheap
I paid £38 :D but sold it for loads as well on Ebay and bought the HD version and still had cash left. So in the end it cost me a few pounds at most :D

Motorcycle Diaries is a joke price. Its less than that with me looking for 10 seconds, HMV with Quidco £15.99. I am sure if you look about harder, you will find it even cheaper :D

Or even cheaper with another 6% quidco off

I could go on and on :D Look its not that hard.

That's some drop with Quidco at HMV, £2. It's not really £5.99 though, it's £17.99 and you get £2 back later. It's an important distinction.

I knew about 101CD but seeing as all references to HD-DVD have been removed from BlahDVD (I used to have a direct link to Motorcycle Diaries bookmarked but the link no longer works) I'd be very surprised if 101CD actually ship it. Either way thanks for finding that link. I tried searching 101CD only minutes before buying at Sendit and nothing is found.

Except for forums maybe, sadly it won't. The Channel 4 HD-DVDs were only released with limited stock and are hard to find, virtually every site charges around £17 and it's even £27 at The Hut (up from £16.93). I've checked and a few forums and no one has it, few bought Motorcycle Diaries on HD-DVD.
Look its not that hard.
I know! I look at the same sites you do. You've just managed to find a direct link, that doesn't appear if you search.

EDIT: The BlahDVD link is working again, but unsurprisingly it's out of stock:

Cheers Romero. I may as well give it a go.

Bloody hell my Motorcycle Diaries is "packing" and is too late to cancel, that's bloody quick. Oh well I cannot be faffed to send it back for £1.50 difference (£17.89 vs. £16.39), especially when it was unlikely BlahDVD would actually be able to ship it.

Well you can think like that :) once its in your bank its your cash, if it takes a month or so, so be it its still cash.

Shipping is hard as frankly many sites lie if its in stock, if only they were regulated and acctauuly had the stock written clearly it would help.

That would be nice. To be fair to BlahDVD (and therefore 101CD) they're removed all references to HD-DVD entirely from their site, the direct link just happen to still work.

Did no one post this before?

Thanks Hung :) There are quite a few Criterions I want!

Thanks Hung. No, no one has.

It's a shame The Last Emperor is £24, so not customs safe. Any idea if Brazil is the original or remastered Criterion? EDIT: It's the original non-remastered one :(. The Remastered SE isn't part of the deal.

I reckon I'll go for Days of Heaven and The Ice Storm SE's. I'm interested in Charade too.

Remember some are getting Criterion BDs later in the year, if that interests you. Actually so does Last Emperor, no loss it's expensive then.

p.s - It expires on the 29th of July.

Do DDD mark the full value of both items on the parcel (like Amazon) or just the one you paid for?

If DDD mark the full retail value I cannot be bothered with the effort to get the Customs charge refunded. Thanks.

Thanks. It's what's on the front packaging right?

However we need to know before the 29th.
