My LG Player does that too. They also "ping" when press them and a cool Blu-ray Disc or HD-DVD logo appears, depending what disc is inserted.

A New Aldi opened near me today.amongst their opening offers is the Tevion blu-ray player for £49.99

picked up one for the bedroom,unbelievable bargain.

£70 less than I paid.

Pity our Aldi doesn't still stock them. Would be good to have an MR back-up.
