I heard about the 48fps thing too, and reports havent been that good but its only rough footage people have seen.
If its shot in 48fps how will that work for BD? :?

I heard that people didn't like it because it made the sets look really obviously like sets - one of the effective things about 24 fps is that it kind of simulates dreams.

Many people said a similar thing about CDs vs. LPs and probably VHS vs. DVD or DVD vs. BD too (it's too real, too digital). Lets see the film before passing judgement, all they've seen is unfinished clips.

Besides, surely most people will see it in 24fps, won't they? I can't imagine there are too many cinemas equipped for 48fps. The same goes for blu-ray.

I liked the first teaser a lot - sometimes the tone was a bit dark but the overall feel was lighter than LOTR, I know is for kids (compared to LOTR) but still :?
