I assumed the Japanese version was not a new transfer or remastered, as people described it as not very clean, or a great transfer :) I have not seen any deteiled reviews ,mind you, which is unusual as someone always reviews these types of HD discs.

I would expect the new HD DVD will be a brand new re mastered transfer (you would hope).

I guess in a few months time when all the different companies release Face Off on the various formats and from various companies, omeone will buy them all and see which si best :D let them do the hard work. I already have the HD DVD from america ready to come, so I wont be looking around :D

4 is weak, but still better than average, which says a lot about the state of American action cinema.

They turned the series into fuckin' Scooby Doo. Did we really need Chris Rock. I mean, did we???

True, but that wouldn't have been THAT much worse.

They both screech a lot.

Frankly, I could've done without Joe Pesci too, who went from endearing to bloody annoying.

And come to think of it Rene Russo was kind annoying too.

WTF???

If you keep going Mark there won't be any actors left :D

I don't get why you guys hate either Chris tbh, sure they're not amazing to watch but they don't especially bother me either.
