As for what I think of Mikako Ichikawa she's not exactly my favorite girl to come out of Japan but I do get why Hung would like her.

High standards? What these guys usually post hurts my eyes so much that I've had to stop reading certain threads

I think you Finns just have bizarre taste in women and I honestly do think that woman is ugly, I wasn't exaggerating.

Kô Shibasaki isn't the most beautiful girl in the 47 Ronin cast. I prefere Rinko Kikuchi who I just saw in the film Norwegian Wood last week.



Shes got a nice Sasha Pivovarova wibe in the picture above and shes not exctly bad in the picture below. Though I have to say in all honesty that I think asian girls who dye their hair blond look kinda silly.

I like Rinko Kikuchi. She, Mikako Ichikawa, Chiaki Kuriama, and Hanae Kan all have a bit of the same look.

With Chichan I even surprised myself. She's kinda opposite from "my type", but she's amazing, just took a little while to warm up to her. But it's the same with kawaii, too. Rarely you can tell if someone is cute just from a picture....

Here I have to disagree with you. When you are comparing chicks or anything for that matter you have to do it as objectively as possible. When I'm trying to figure out how beautiful some chick is I try to consider every aspect like facial structure, muscle structure, proportions, different facial expressions, mannerisms, the beaty of her movement and so forth. Of course it's hard to know all these things but you make do with the information you can get. Sometimes it's very hard to do this because your brain makes connections with feelings and logical reasoning.

Here is an example. I saw a Danish model called Caroline Brasch Nielsen and thought shes kinda good looking but then I heard her speak for the first time and she sounded like a complete retard. Now every time I see her I think she looks retarded even though her appearance has nothing to do with it.

Returning to those Japanese chicks I don't see that many similarities with those Japanese chicks you mentioned and I don't think Kuriyama is that attractive. She kinda looks like John Galliano in the last two pictures. She has the same kind of prominent lower lip and similar eyes.

And I do applogize for posting pictures of a extremely gay guy but this was done to prove a point and to poke fun of Hungs strange taste in women. Though I have to admit I like how Galliano dresses and I think his creations at Dior were stunning.

We'll have took keep disagreeing. Cuteness is about 30% looks, 70% everything else. I suppose "beauty" would be the same, but I avoid using that word because in common usage it equals to "having coffee with Joe Pesci".

Objectivity is to be avoided, just like with when reviewing movies, because it leads to dry and technical statements that aren't of any practical use to anyone. Well, to almost anyone...

That post does help me understand your fascination with models, though. I'm sure they score high in theorethical beauty calculations

I'm not saying the most beautiful chick is the best one to hang around and be with, quite often it's the opposite. I'm just saying that unless you have first hand knowledge about how it's talking or being around a certain girl you have to rely on external indicators.

I don't practically care for the idol look. They are often very dolled up and they all try to look similar.

Though I have to say Yui Aragaki and Nagasawa Masami both look stunning.

You do realise the point of this thread is to post women we find really attractive (fair enough if you do the former girls)? Not "necessarily" what we'd find attractive in real life (although obviously the two can blur). This thread is fantasy, like the non-Asian one.
