But postage is free??bradavon wrote:Also with the fucking £18 limit (currently exactly $33.94) you can't add anymore than 2-3 titles and if it's a Criterion it could only be 1 title.
Thus with the postage on top (which is expensive unless you buy 2-3) it bumps the price to make the 20% mean very little. Criterions are still £15-17 that's not a bargain.
Good idea cheers. Yeah but once you've added postage it's suddenly no longer a bargain.EvaUnit02 wrote:Many on the Dvdtalk forums seem to grabbing Criterions, ~$23 is very cheap for one of them.
For us no, but it is cheap enough.grim_tales wrote: But postage is free??
Put another way yes UK residents will incur a customs charge but it should/could be much lower than that of the postage elsewhere. One guy over at the DVD Forums has bought £150 worth of DVDs.STEVEWWF wrote:the good thing with DDD is that they have international postage fixed at $14.95 no matter how much you order over $50.......so find that ordering items under the £18 ($33) customs limit is all very good but have to add another £5.00 ($8.95) postage so does not work out as much of a bargain.

Back filled a fair amount of my anime collection in that sale.
The latter, cest la vie. I hope to pick a LG combo rom drive when I have the cash, as I said in the other thread.bradavon wrote:You have been busy, haven't you
How concerned are you about Toshiba dropping HD-DD or are you going to enjoy it while it lasts?
Source: http://www.theimportforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=13108Excludes preorders I believe, but does include items that are presently out of stock. You can use each code as many times as you like, if it stops working move onto the next code. Theres a tonne fo them floating about.
I used the same one 4 times so far. It ussually runs for a week, but best to get orders in quickly.
I would rather have th Uk version for £4.48p from HMV etc..bradavon wrote: * Elizabeth: The Golden Age HD-DVD TrueHD Combo is $15.53/£7.88 delivered.
No bargain as in a bargain price. $1/£1 less than elsewhere doesn't make it a bargain in my book. Regardless I cannot see many. Not against MovieTyme, Inetvideo, TheHut or HMV.romerojpg wrote:Bargain as in cheaper than any other place for many HD discs, then yes they are.
For single disc/2 disc SE's -grim_tales wrote:What would you consider a bargain for a HD disc Brad?
