Yes but how much is the R1? For less than a fiver, if you're on a budget I'd go for the R2.

I'll let you off Grim as you were away  . Posted a few comments back is the Thai R3 identical to the R1 right down to the English packaging and WB logo for £6.89.

It's about that anyway from eThaiCD.com.

Who thinks of the budget anyway when we're talking £2-3 difference?

Yeah, I wouldn't purposely buy an extraless edition unless it was better in another regard just to save a quid or two.

Many fools over at The DVD Forums have (the same lot who think DVD Forums 50p voucher is good value). A member has let them know the Thai R3 is better but like lemmings they're assuming it's R3 so must be dodgy and ignoring it.

The difference is £1.98 - $12.50 compared with £4.89.

The extras are also a commentary which means something next to a silly featurette.

WONDERLAND £1.97 at musiczone-underrated movie worth a look imo

I was going to buy it but something in the back of my mind made me not, its the porno star part of the story I dont care for somehow. Still the price is top stuff :D Secutary was the same price that has a stunning cover so I had to get that :D

I hear Wonderland is really good. Why does the porn star part put you off? It's not a porn film it's a biopic.

I watched the real life documentary a while back it was an interesting watch.

I just hate the man himself, a vile odious man and the films about that porn star.

yes but the movie is about the murder case,it barely touches on holmes's porno career & certainly doesn't show him in a good light. i have the 2 disc region 1 version but £1.97 for a movie of this quality is a no-brainer if you haven't seen it

Sadly for me it isn't a no brainer when I'd have to drive miles and miles to buy said DVD :(
romerojpg wrote:I just hate the man himself, a vile odious man and the films about that porn star.
You only hate him because he was attached to porn of which you strongly dislike. Am I right?

Odious - I'm impressed I hadn't heard of that word before. That's a big word for you :D

No you are very wrong, have you even seen his life story at all? he was not a nice man.

I watched the documentary a while ago so yes but that doesn't explain why you're against seeing the film.

Hitler was an evil man but that doesn't stop Downfall from being an outstanding film.

I am not interested in Downfall either :D pointless films about people who I could not care less about I guess, if it was someone I wanted to see a life story of then I would buy a film about said person :) some people really dont even deserve to be remembered.

Would you mind? I don't like to ask (to often) as it puts people out.
romerojpg wrote:I am not interested in Downfall either :D
That's a pity as it really is a remarkable film. Personally I think we all have a duty to have an understanding of who Hitler was but that's just my opinion.

no sweat brad i work 3 minutes walk from a music zone-what you after, wonderland? i'll pick it up tomorrow.

Yes please and Naked Weapon 2 Disc @ £3.97 if they still have that.

It can replace my ALL nudity, hugging, kissing, sexy pose Malaysian VCD :D . I remember it being mostly good fun and for £3.97 it's a steal. I'm "tempted" to author my own DVD and cut out that "scene", at least the Malaysian VCD cuts it too.

Is there anything else of interest which hasn't been mentioned?

Mail me your Bank Transfer details and I'll send you the £5.94 + whatever postage etc . . . is involved:

Thanks again.

Boogie Nights is much much better than Wonderland.

boogie nights is about the porn industry and is excellent, wonderland is a true life crime movie with porn very much in the background.bit unfair to compare the two.

Dirk Diggler (Wahlberg's character) is based on the guy whom Val Kilmer plays in Wonderland.

HEROIC DUO ( tartan) £2.97 at music zone

I hated Boogie Nights with a vengence :D one of the worst films I saw that year.

Theres are endless bargains in Musiczone, too many to list :( sadly I own 99% of them and paid massive amounts more. :D

I didn't think that much of Boogie Nights, decent enough but Magnolia and PDL are sooo much better.

Still Heather Graham's muff riding around on rollerskates was cool  . I don't mind saying I freezed framed and zoomed in on that scene :D (she's 36!).

Thanks. I wonder how they can sell them so cheap. I was just wondering but good man Salty is getting me Naked Weapon and Wonderland so I'm happy.
