Actually really enjoyed it, IMO, MJ danced and moved pretty well and looked healthy which makes it even sadder he passed away
Some productions look as if they could have been crackers - eg Smooth Criminal with some very clever splicing putting MJ in a 40's gangster film, Thriller (in 3D) and the moving Earth Song. Also some good rehersal performances of Billie Jean, Beat It etc He also seemed clued up enough and knew what he was doing to direct his dancers and keep rhythm and stuff.

So, a glimpse of what might have been. In a curious way, this is one of the best and worst things. In presenting the MJ the fans/public want to see (understandably), it makes you think you never thought he'd die, but now he's gone - if that makes sense
But I think it was supposed to be celebrate him.
At the end, the audience in the cinema even applauded.

I never tire of watching this timeless classic,it's absolutely superb entertainment for young and old.i envy people seeing this for the first time (yi-long?) The blu-ray looks magnificent,amazing how good a 70 year old film can look.to be fair though the last dvd release was very good as well.

Which BD do you have?

I'd love to give movies like these a try, but I do want to wait till I have kids (if ever), so I can enjoy these movies together with them for the first time...

I would LOVE to have the Oz-anime on BR or DVD or something though. I'd slaughter complete countries to let that happen The anime was fantastic, just like the Peter Pan anime.

There are so damn many classics I've never watched yet, it ain't even funny, but at the same time I'm glad, cause it just means I have stuff to look forward to

Might watch this one day, but certainly not gonna pay for it and have the money go to the money-hungry grabbing bastards...

This is by far one of the dumbest things people can do at movie theaters. Unless its a premiere where the stars/director is present I see no point in it.

ok, so you applaude because the guest is there, no matter if the film was good or not, and you don't applaude when you see a brilliant movie unless there's a guest? There's so many stupid things people can do at movie theatre that this doesn't quite make it to the top list, but it's still pretty dumb.

The last time I (and a threatre full of other people) applauded at the cinema was in the screening of Yatterman. Miike well deserved it; he had given us one the funniest, most surprising and best films of the year.

A freak like Jackson does not deserve any applause anyway.

While I'm not a fan of the child abuse allegations and other weird stuff he did, he was still a brilliant entertainer and a pop legend.

He was a total cock.

Yeah (maybe its 4/5) I enjoyed the film, it had a good plot spies and weird assassins
It seemed to imagine the US had joined WWII at the start of the war though icon_suspect I guess that was propaganda, to gain support.

Yeah, you're right there. But 1/2 days ago I thought I heard something on the radio about Americans who fought in WWII for the British, (?) even though America hadn't entered the war at that point.
