For those who want to see the greatness of Beverly Hills Cop 2 (and live in the UK) it's on FilmFour next Monday at 9pm :D

It was on ITV 2 a few months back, at 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday!

Imgaine the film gutted beyond words for children. Pathetic even showing such a version! No blood, no guns and no swearing and boobs, a load of crap.

There's bare boobs in BHC2? They cut all the guns out? It's about gun crime :D

I hope everyone living in the UK is watching Beverly Hills Cop on ITV right now (and Part 2 tomorrow night). I'm sure you'll see how superior it is to Lethal Weapon :D

I've seen these two films so many times but still love them as if they were the first time I saw them. Come on Paramount give us HD-DVDs!

I dont know what are Eddie Murphy's BEST movies, but I do know Bowfinger is one of the very worst movies I have EVER seen. And I saw it in a cinema. With 'friends'.

And 'friends' is between quotations, cause what kind of assholes would take another person to see Bowfinger!? I wanted to see Disney's Tarzan, dammit!

I'm not even giving Norbit a CHANCE!

I did enjoy The Nutty Professor and Trading Places (Jamie Curtis has/had gorgeous boobs btw). Boomerang was also OK.

I don't recall ever seeing a Steve Martin movie which wasn't a colossal pile of arse.

Same here. Some of his movies are mildly amusing, but that's despite of him, instead of because of him.
What I REALLY cant figure out is why they made a Pink panther movie with HIM as Insp. Clouseau, while Jean Reno was right there and has a tremendous talent for both acting and comedy!!!

The only stuff with Steve Martin I liked, were his sketches with Letterman. One where they showed what work went into the preperation of a visit from Martin on Dave's Show, and another one where they were like 'lovers'...
But tbh that also was mostly Letterman carrying the scenes.

The Jerk and Man With Two Brains are two classics, and Planes, Trains, & Autombiles is one of the best comedies of the 80s. I agree he hasn't done anything decent for decades though.

The Man With Two Brains was very funny; but that's now 25 years old and - as far as Martin's career goes - in the minority.

Roxanne and Planes, Trains, & Autombiles are classics. Like Murphy back in the 80's Steve Martin was comedy gold.
