Well Slasher implies he got one but who knows. It looks like Degeneration did too as Alias Season 5 R1 £20.49 before vouchers.

Weird I can't get it to work any more either.

I got it to work for me BEFORE I tried it for my girlf...
I actually got it to work twice (different email addresses) for me before i tried it for my girlf, but cause I had to go and change several addresses on the cdwow site, somehow it wiped my cart AFTER I'd applied the voucher and as a result it still registered my use of teh voucher, even though I didn't get to actually use it!!
Anyway, at least I got it working once...

Just wait until the site does a "refresh". The same thing happened to me last night. I tried again with the same code this morning and it worked fine. I ordered Miami Vice: Director's Cut (R1).degeneration wrote:somehow it wiped my cart AFTER I'd applied the voucher and as a result it still registered my use of teh voucher, even though I didn't get to actually use it!!

My cart got wiped too. 8 hours later, I was able to use the voucher.
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

As Romero says ignore that it's actually £5 or it would be if it was working for youthelostdragon wrote:Huh? All I get is something that says I am getting £1 off. Nothing about £5 there.
I've sent the details to my brother whose also having the same problems weird
All I can suggest is trying again in the morning. It could be because the voucher "special" link is busy (i.e - popular). I wouldn't take what it actually says as being the actual reason.

All voucher codes can be combined with voucher links, no matter how large or small.
Personally however with these large vouchers £5/8 and the like I think it's too risky in case they decide to make you the exception to the (unofficial) rule and cancel your order (lets not forget for about 3-6 months they did just that).
In theory there is nothing stopping you getting another £5 voucher though. I say in theory as I've not managed to get it working since. You'd be more pissed if you lost that £5 (than happy over the £1 saving) just because you were extra greedy and wanted another £1 off.
It is mad thinking about it they'd sell a £7.99 DVD for £1.99. From a business perspective they may as well give it away.
Still it does bode well for £3 (Code + Link) for future.

Because it's £7.99 and he got £6 off (£1 Link + £5 Code), what's confusing?grim_tales wrote:£1.99? How so?

yup its cheap on CDwow by most standards, instore in HMV its £16 nearly, my dvd player does play R3's but i gotta enter a code first and shit. so seeing as its under a tenner the R2 will be ok. but i wouldnt pay more than £9 for it...even loathed for that but i want it so...

well my dvd player plays all regions but R3...i cant afford to buy a new dvd player just yet. it was only one of these cheap players that comes with 50 free (but crap) dvds but its not bad as it plays all regions but R3 but even then i can enter a code to make it play them... but the R2 is just easier lol
