I ordered Alias Season 5 R1 for £15.49 or something like that. Not a bad price.

Just got sent a £5 voucher for Sendit as well (some promo they did with lovefilm.com, where I signed up for them - can't remember exact details)!!! SO just bought Red Dwarf S6 for £5.89. Been a good day!!!

Well Slasher implies he got one but who knows. It looks like Degeneration did too as Alias Season 5 R1 £20.49 before vouchers.

Mark: Try deleting your cookies, close ALL browser windows and try again.

Weird I can't get it to work any more either.

I got it to work for me BEFORE I tried it for my girlf...

I actually got it to work twice (different email addresses) for me before i tried it for my girlf, but cause I had to go and change several addresses on the cdwow site, somehow it wiped my cart AFTER I'd applied the voucher and as a result it still registered my use of teh voucher, even though I didn't get to actually use it!!

Anyway, at least I got it working once...

I hate it when that happens.

I guess like lots of the CD WOW vouchers it can be a bit funny. I'm going to try from work.

Just wait until the site does a "refresh". The same thing happened to me last night. I tried again with the same code this morning and it worked fine. I ordered Miami Vice: Director's Cut (R1).

Exactly what I did. :)
My cart got wiped too. 8 hours later, I was able to use the voucher.

Huh? All I get is something that says I am getting £1 off. Nothing about £5 there.

After entering the code it says:
Sorry, the promotion code you have entered is not correct. Please check and try again.

I give up... I really do.

As Romero says ignore that it's actually £5 or it would be if it was working for you :(

I've sent the details to my brother whose also having the same problems weird  . They normally work for everyone.

All I can suggest is trying again in the morning. It could be because the voucher "special" link is busy (i.e - popular). I wouldn't take what it actually says as being the actual reason.

Remember assuming you can get it to work in the first place you can use this more than once if you have multiple accounts.

Just like the previous and current £2 Voucher Code.

All voucher codes can be combined with voucher links, no matter how large or small.

Personally however with these large vouchers £5/8 and the like I think it's too risky in case they decide to make you the exception to the (unofficial) rule and cancel your order (lets not forget for about 3-6 months they did just that).

In theory there is nothing stopping you getting another £5 voucher though. I say in theory as I've not managed to get it working since. You'd be more pissed if you lost that £5 (than happy over the £1 saving) just because you were extra greedy and wanted another £1 off.

It is mad thinking about it they'd sell a £7.99 DVD for £1.99. From a business perspective they may as well give it away.

Still it does bode well for £3 (Code + Link) for future.

Because it's £7.99 and he got £6 off (£1 Link + £5 Code), what's confusing? ;)

Crikey I didnt know it was so expensive to start with! Region 2 is a rip off sometimes. Still the Region 3 evrsions are cheap, but are ussually not as nice as Region 2 in many ways (well to me). Thats why I ussually wait for sale for UK dvds :D

@Shen:
Just buy a cheap region-free player.
They don't cost much more than £40 these days. :)

well my dvd player plays all regions but R3...i cant afford to buy a new dvd player just yet. it was only one of these cheap players that comes with 50 free (but crap) dvds but its not bad as it plays all regions but R3 but even then i can enter a code to make it play them... but the R2 is just easier lol
