So not exactly the same as the original theatrical version - and no mono either as per usual for Warners - but what can one do? The long OOP first DVD edition was the genuine theatrical cut (no tweaks) but letterboxed and still mono-less. Hardly worth sacrificing all the BD goodness for.

Just in case anyone was wondering the Fear of God doc is still the 77m-slightly edited version from the 25th anniversary disc. Shame they couldn't have sourced the uncut BBC version.

I said "original" theatrical cut. That's pretty darn clear. The BD doesn't even have a stereo remix, I'm surprised you're going anywhere near it. Seriously I am. It's odd the American BD is DTS-HD MA 5.1 only.

How could I know your use of the word 'original' specifically referred to the 1973 theatrical cut as opposed to the version of the theatrical cut that's called 'original theatrical version' on the fucking Blu Ray packaging? Only you seem to know what you're saying... give the rest of us a break for once.

And I answered your 'point' about 'why buy?' in my last post.

Warners are arses and rarely include original audio tracks on their post-golden age discs. Putting DTS and 5.1 on makes some audiophiles cream themselves - and that's apparently all that matters.

they are in a triple case.why not get it anyway,you'd get a fiver for Total Recall which means you are getting Raw Deal for £3,getting Red Heat as a freebee and saving space on your shelf

I just went for the set - havent seen Red Heat in ages, Raw Deal is pretty fun and TR is a classic
