What is with this forum? I see that nothing has changed since before I left, it's still full of bitching and whining about well, Brad, and I really dont understand the reasons for it, some of you are just nasty...dont you have anything better to do? I must admit I can find Brad a little pompus at times (sorry) but why is there the need to attack him in almost every thread? being pompus and a little annoying is alteast better than being a nasty, bitter, vile person who takes things too far and attacks another for no real reason. Doesn't one usually come to forums like this to relax, discuss movies, dvds etc and find about up and coming movies? Not to act like children and go out of their way to insult people and be obnoxious for no real reason.

I thought I'd come back and enjoy BnB again, but it seems not, just because of a select few idiots who act like 3 year olds. So whats the point of coming here if its just to read nasty, rude and insulting posts, punctuated with arguments about reading posts properly or how annoying someone is and so on, once I'm back from my vacation I probably wont be posting here anymore, I have enough brats in my family to deal with, and come here to escape that, only to be confronted with even more.

Thank you and thanks Shen for dispelling the myth you left last time soly because you disliked me. I always knew it was rubbish but others were actively saying specifically that.

Of course I'd say this but I too wonder what exactly I do that is quite so bad to get the constant abuse I have to put up with. Sure I can be pompus and annoying but what I get in return is much worse. Only recently Salty called me a prick and Tigercage called me a cunt (sorry for using such language, that's what he said). I don't call members such words.

I also wish we could spend more time talking about movies. It's a shame 3-4 members cannot resist acting like children and spoil it for everyone.

I've wondered why I bother to post here any more, most of the time it's not a fun place for anyone to visit. I often cannot say anything without someone commenting I'm trolling or having a go at me. This especially gets annoying when others have said an identical thing, but there comments are ignored.

Yes of course I don't help at times, it is often (not always) in response to others however. I don't even really mind Romero, Mark and Salty's (most of the time) arguments as they don't come across as vindictive.

Shingster, Ivan, Tigercage, Lourdes (in the past) and Yi-Long (in the past) however have been plain vindictive in the past and some present. I don't understand why that's called for.

I'm sure it will come across as a shocking surprise to some members but this the ONLY forum where some members actively dislike me. I've never had this trouble on TheDVDForums (whilst I was still posting there), Import Forum, AV Forums, AVS Forum, Digital Spy, Kaspersky, Anythingbutipod, Neowin, DVD-Swaps, Eastern Eye Forums.

Some of those forums I'm even considered an active and helpful member. To clarify: The DVD Forums I was banned because Colin P took a dislike to me not any other member, prior to my ban no one had an issue with me.

I do think Tom's relaxed approach makes it worse (despite his best intent). No other forum on the planet would put up with the level of arguments we have here (from myself too). Sure you're allowed to disagree but if it gets out of hand a Mod. steps in and stops it, this virtually never happens here. Sometimes an outsider is needed. No that doesn't mean I'm saying I was right for the job.

i believe ColinP came on here and saw the thread you started bitching about dvdforums.my memory is hazy but i believe he saved some of the old B&B database when it went tits up so a thread slagging his forum policies off wasn't the best idea.

To sum up i don't have a problem with Brad.he has annoyed me more in the last 6 months but i don't hold grudges.i've helped him in the past as i would any member. And as for Shen and anyone else threatening to leave then sorry but goodbye. i did it once myself and lasted 2 days when i realised what a "look at me" attitude threatening to leave a board with about 20 active members really was. a bit pathetic tbh.

Fair point. I'll re-clarify, as you're quite right. I've not posted a vindictive post, deliberately picking at someone. I have however sworn in response.

I've noticed that. Prior to the past 6 months we got on mostly well. I continue to help members I've disagreed with too, it's not worth holding a grudge. Sadly some members don't feel that way.

Agreed. I don't believe that was Shen's intention though, she choice not to start a new thread (like LD did) and just gave her point of view. When I decide to leave I just will.

I maybe misreading Shen's post but the latter part seems to be talking generally not just about me.

TBH, most of the arguments come from Brad misreading and/or misunderstanding, either deliberate or because he's incapable of otherwise, other people's post, and then acting like a bitch. Also, constantly harping back on stuff he THINKS he knows about people (like constantly complaining I will NEVERrrrrrrrrrrr be satisfied with a Fist of Legend release, while I have mentioned a zillion times that the only thing 'm asking for is an uncut release with original language and english subs, and OK AV quality, and constantly bringing it up as well)

Also, his attitute towards (I think) LD was just the straw that broke the camel's back last time, in a short time-period where he was being kind of a dick in multiple different threads, to a couple of members, all at the same time. I think for me and some others, we kinda had more than enough of that.

But apparently, according to Tom, I'm just a troll... so I guess I should follow LD's example.

That was over 5 months ago. Why bring it up again? What Shen speaks of is what's happening currently.

I'm not having a go, it just seems pointless to bring up arguments that happened such a long time ago. Regardless as we're getting on again I wouldn't want to stop that .

The common denominator in any annoyance on these forums is Bradavon, his presence ensures arguements and frustration for all - FACT!

The boy has real issues and surely an early death would not be a bad thing, ask his family they feel the same!

Some dislike me, some have no issue with me: Shen, Gasteropod, Hungfist have no issue with me what so ever. That's three off the top of my head.
