Agreed Romero-i have no problem at all having so many films but realise there's not enough hours in the day anymore so may downsize.at least i actually try and watch my discs unlike Brad whose active social calendar doesn't allow him time to watch any of his discs  He'd sooner go on crazy jaunts like Go Ape than actually watch a disc he's paid for

How many directors have? :D.

You've clearly never seen a Almodóvar film then. No confuse artistic with pretentious. None of the Almodóvar films I've seen are pretentious (which I'm guessing is more than you) and I've said as much as I like the work of Alejandro González Iñárritu, Babel is pretentious in places.

If you don't know why owning nearly 1000 discs/books/whatever is somewhat ridiculous, I'm not about to tell you.
saltysam wrote:at least i actually try and watch my discs unlike Brad whose active social calendar doesn't allow him time to watch any of his discs
And you know that how exactly? Just because I don't choose to write a review every time I watch a film.

You're so 1999.

i've seen more films than you've had the pleasure of a hard cock Brad (and that's a lot) so don't preach to me about Almodovar films please.

Like i thought,you can't explain.

i base my assumption on the fact you often post about skipping through discs rather than sitting on your juice orange of an arse and watching them all the way through.

And in 2010 you still haven't grown up,od'ing on absinthe for starters.fuck me you are about 30 aren't you?you come across like Spoilt Bastard from the Viz.

Ha ha WTF! Care to make sense now? I see you're following the Romero school of thought on logic. Care to try and prove that? Good luck with that one.
saltysam wrote:i base my assumption on the fact you often post about skipping through discs
Further Romero logic I see. To use your words "often post about skipping through discs" isn't exactly good evidence to say I never watch films.
saltysam wrote:And in 2010 you still haven't grown up,od'ing on absinthe for starters.fuck me you are about 30 aren't you?
You tell me. You clearly know more about me, than I know myself.

Eh?prove what? I've seen two Almodovar films and they've both been shite. i'd sooner watch a Chuck Norris movie any day of the week.

Good evidence? you are the dick who hailed There Will Be Blood as a great movie then weeks later asked in a thread what happened at the end. Which proves you either didn't watch it and hailed it a classic because you read about it or more likely you were having improper thoughts about Daniel Day Lewis and simply forgot.

No I didn't. It was several months/a year later and you're twisting what I said anyway.

I'm not watching Hungfist amount of movies but I am watching some.

Mad Max late last week. I'd seen the ending a few times on TV but never sat down to watch it all. Fantastic film. There's little in it that says an apocalypse has just happened. Is it just before the apocalypse? It does feel dystopian though. I've got the R4 with it's fantastic 1.5Mbps DTS remix. You can tell the source is stereo but when the car chases happen, it sounds great.

I reckon I'll pick up Mad Max 2: Road Warrior BD next. Is Mad Max 3 any good? I've read mixed reports. Pity the DVD is so rubbish (very cheap though).

Haha yup I was gonna say the exact same thing. EIV are like the plague on Blu Ray, the prices drop faster than a slags knickers. You can get new releases for £5 or £6 weeks after release, that says it all. The company is a joke still mind you, even their covers are wrong constantly still  I wish they would go bust.

Apart from it being an EIV release is there anything actually wrong with the Mask BD?Because at less than £4 it's a no-brainer if you fancy watching it again.
