He's not exactly Marlon Brando is he? He's been terrible in some roles, ok in others.

Anyone could put in a workable performance in Running Scared, the film is seriously over-directed and the dramatics monstrously overblown, just sweat and look around frenzily and you're away. Michael Wong would look ok in Running Scared.

Nope he aint Marlon, as he was a total shit actor.

Can't remember how he was in 1, but he's really funny in 2. As is Tyrese Gibson. I'm not sure how much of it is intentional and how much accidental, but it doesn't matter.

I don't think it's intentional. I cannot stand all that fake black hip hop, white boy talk. That NO one speaks in real life. Tyrese Gibson was annoying too.

To be fair I thought Paul Walker was surprisingly good in RUNNING SCARED.

OK, so he was impersonating Mark Wahlberg the whole time, but you wouldn't call him a wooden actor on the basis of that performance.

Haven't seen any of FURIOUS films.

Terminator: Salvation - 3.5/5
I didn't go in there expecting to see anything similar to parts 1 and 2. What I got was a solid film which gets in line with the first two parts way better than the third one did.
Bring on part 5!!

Finally, someone else who likes it. I completely agree Lost Dragon.

The X-Files: I Want To Believe 2/5

This is one of those films that I was so looking forward to, but now cannot fathom why it was made. I was hoping to see another installment in the X-Files conspiracy storyline as that is what I watched the whole thing for. Instead you just got a murder thriller sort of film that happened to star mulder and scully. It was nothing more than an extended version of the sort of filler episodes you got in the TV series. The story was ok, but nothing special.

Anyway, got to stop writing so much now, I'm putting too much a strain on myself.

It may be as camp as scouts with a paper thin screenplay, but it's such infectious fun, with some classic tunes. Loved it I'm told I have a very good voice apparently (!) Everyone was encouraged to sing, I wound up singing an impromptu I Have a Dream and Thank You for The Music at the end...

i caught the end of this on sky HD earlier...it looks entertaining enough (if you like Abba) but a 5/5 film....oh i also caught Brosnan singing SOS...is it an in-joke,is he meant to sing that badly?

I wondered that too, he sounds like a combine harvester Meryl Streep has a very good voice.
Well it is a lot of fun, depends if you like ABBA I guess.

Not for the reasons you gave mind you, the violence is just violence, same shit as always, did not mind that at all and liked the film for about half its running time.

It was the fucking shit ending twaddle that blew my mind, what crack were they on making that shit bile, pure bile.

National Lampoons Loaded Weapon 1: 4/5

I really enjoyed it Silly, but very funny Reminded me of the Naked Gun films due to the blink and you'll miss it style of gags

Hit american comedy is pretty funny but runs out of steam before the end.well worth a watch.

RED HEAT

One of the lesser Schwarzengger vehicles from the 80s.

Unappealing characters (Belushi is particularly grating here); repetitive dialogue, mainly insults; poorly-staged action sequences (fist fights are rank, and the bus finale is a thundering disappointment) all combine to sink workable east meets west-buddy cop concept.

James Horner's score (some of which was ripped off for The Killer) is pretty good.
