Did you click the link? It says right there, Dec 7.
I don't know when the sale expires.
And yes, $8 isn't 20% (or 50%) of $70. That's what I was saying.

FYI you need to create the account before the code works, this can be done during checkout. It gave me $4 off a $19.99 BD but including postage it came to $24.47/£14.71. Which is pretty good but not cheap enough for me to bother, for Chungking Express BD.
Thanks though.

Moon was lovely

really nice film.
and hell Quidco at 6% is nothing to be snubbed

shame it was not 10% like R4 goods.

Bollocks! You've done it again Salty. Both of those are also on my Xmas list. Hopefully the sale will still be on on Boxing Day or a similar one.

Well my order for Moon and T4 tracked on Quidco for £1.44 which is more than 6% (8% it seems)

Makes them £8.27 each.
but that means nothing to Brad, as he wastes cash

You're quite correct and all the millions of other people who don't use Quidco either. Many on this forum I'll add.

Millions do not use it, as they do not know about it you moron.
Anyone who knows and has had it explained to them and still does not use it is a fucking idiot. Like you you fucking muppet.

Why does it bother you? It's my money, not yours

.
And given how much you bring it up, it does bother you.

Becuase it is better picture. The new disc has awful noise reduction on the transfer, so it sucks a bit.

Bollocks! Neither have a perfect picture but the new one is better, although it is softer. The old one has muddy looking colours. It also has all the different cuts too and Mark at least prefers the shorter cut.
Any idea if the UK BD still comes in a Tin?
It did on release but that one at Zavvi looks like it comes in a standard case. My German HD-DVD looked mint in a tin but the USA BD SE I now have, is in a standard case and it looks so bland. For such an iconic film.
EDIT: It's not the Tin version. That's £18 at Amazon

.

Then unless you want to own both BDs (which I still say the older one is "overall" worse), you're stuck with the new SE. The only other way to get the Theatrical Cut is the old USA BD and that's rubbish.
Both old and new UK BDs have a perfectly fine picture, they're just not HD WOWness! They're better than the Ultimate Edition DVD.
