I presume it's the same as this

We all better pick up the BDs we want, before they go OOP. I suspect the DVDs will take a while longer, but even so get buying. It will be eons before the other Tartan BDs now get a release
, and to think some are still pleased they've gone out of business.

Extras: DD
Subs: Tartan
Audio/Video: Both
I think that's how it goes. I've not seen a comparison to say which has better PQ between the Tartan and DD but I imagine both are decent, the same goes for the audio (Cantonese Original Mono, DD5.1 or DTS). Yes the Tartan CE is very good, make sure it's the CE you get. Which you should do as the old DVD was OOP years ago.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to DVD Profiler I own 9 Tartan DVDs:
Oldboy 2 Disc SE: Soon to be the BD
Capturing the Friedmans 2 Disc SE
The Woodsman
A Tale of Two Sisters 2 Disc SE
The Ring Trilogy Box set
Japanese Story
Infernal Affairs
Hard Boiled
Battle Royale - Extended Cut: Limited Edition Tin
With the (possible) exception of The Ring Trilogy and Infernal Affairs all are considered excellent releases.

1. Open Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox
2. Type into the address bar: www.google.co.uk
3. Search for "I'm too lazy to look for myself"
It's amazing what you'll find

Palisades Media buy Tartan USA and Tartan UK, the interview:

I wonder when we'll see the first Tartan release by Palisades?
It looks like Tartan will now be known as "Palisades Tartan". It sounds like Palisades Tartan will be creating the discs but not distributing them.
