"Drive"?
Nope.
"Devilman" rocks by the way.
Damn right it does.
It would have been a masterpiece if not for those stupid twin brothers who can't act to save their lives.
Anybody who hasn't seen Debiruman should at least try it:
(note: these pics are not related to the game).
BTW: Does your DVD come with english subs, LD ?

No, German subs only.

Damn. I'll have to keep watching my DivX screener then.
-----
Clue:
Instead of trying to remember in what movie you saw that screen in the first picture, try to READ the screen.
There are two clues in there.

Aha!!! "Battle Royale 2".

Aha !!!
Well done, LD.
(
-Kinji.sys is obviously a reference to director Kinji Fukasaku who died during the shoot.
-Q33NYUSA was the license number of one of the planes that crashed on 9/11. It has then become a symbol of terrorism.)

I am unaware of any alternative titles for Devilman.
The movie is available in:
-Germany.
-Japan.
-Thailand.
All DVD editions are without english subs.

assuming theyve vaguely stuck to the character of the OAV animations then Im not actually too worried about it having subs, worst comes to the worst i could just get a fansub and play it over my pc....
now, as for the three versions, im assuming the japanese version is hella expensive as usual??
anyways, sorry all ive kind of distracted the thread, LD... your turn

About 45€, yeah.
I'm planning on buying the japanese edition and re-author the DVD with fansubs one day.

by thelostdragon
Not quite, no.
Recognize the actor?
Posted: 21 Dec 2005, 21:47
by Yi-Long
It's the guy from Infernal Affairs 2, among many other triad movies...
Posted: 21 Dec 2005, 21:57
by thelostdragon
Also known as Francis Ng, one of my personal favourite HK actors.

I knew it was Francis, but the guy's been in soooo many movies a simple mug shot won't do...

Tom, you're right.
Damn! How on earth do you find these out?
Posted: 22 Dec 2005, 09:32

Deductive reasoning.
Based on his hairdo and his glasses, I knew that:
-he played some kind of accountant or lawyer.
-it was a pre-1999 movie.
25 to 24. I just can't seem to overtake you, though.
