I went for a job interview today but didnt even get to be interviewed (turned out I didnt even have the right documents).
Grrr.. this sucks

What documents did they ask you to bring? What was the position for?

It was for an admin assistant at the Valuation Office Agency.
I misread the bit about bringing all my school certificates so didnt know about that, I knew I had to take my passport too (as well as a CC statement) but couldn't find it (passport) in time

I couldnt "bring them later" due to new rules, at least I know I can get an interview with them though should another job come up.

Didnt see the point in starting a new thread for just this, so wanted to say on Tuesday, I'm going on holiday for a week to Crete with my family. I'm sure I'll be searching for an internet cafe the moment I land

Today I said goodbye to my friend Lea (who I go to voluntary work with) She is leaving as she has a new (paid I guess?) job

Yeah, but when I asked "Will I see you again?" she says "I'm not sure", maybe yes, maybe no.

I looked that up in the "Woman - English | English - Woman" dictionary and it says that this means a clear yes.

I didn't know that It's a shame I can't have a "Good luck on your new job" beer with her and co-workers next week.

I think LD is using an out-of-date dictionary.

When a woman says "I'm not sure" after being asked directly if she'll likely meet a bloke again it means "very unlikely/I'm not interested/I don't care".

If she was interested in meeting up with you again you'd know as she'd have made it clear and perhaps even instigated by giving you a telephone number/e-mail address to encourage future contact.
