@Grim:
4 spelling mistakes in 4 words. You're improving, dude. :D
Ca Plain Pour Moi (sp?) by Platic Bertram

ça plane pour moi / Plastic Bertrand.

Fun song (quite stupid, though).
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

D'oh! Bertrand. Thanks.
I mistyped "plastic" OK?! :)

What does it mean? It's plain for me? :?

ça = it.
plane = from verb "planer" which means "to fly / to hover".
pour moi = for me.

"ça plane" = it's all going great.

"ça plane pour moi" = It's all going great for me.

or "the whole world looks great 'cause I'm on drugs" (that's my interpretation :D ).
I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Not sure about the second one?

2. Ye actually like deep fried battered pizza fae the chippie.

I did when I was a greasy teen. :D

3. Yer used tae four seasons in wan day.

Yep.

4. Ye canna pass a chip/kebab shop withoot sleverin when yer blootert.

I don't get drunk so I suppose that disqualifies me. But I do love the chippy.

5. Ye kin fall about pished withoot spilling yer drink.

See 4. You're a bit obsessed with drink aren't you?

6. Ye see people wearin shell suits with Burberry accessories - pure class!

Chav bastards!

7. Ye measure distance in minutes.

Lol. True.

8. Ye kin understaun Rab C Nesbitt and know characters just like him, in yer ain family.

I understand generally (some of the Glasweigan is out of my grasp being an East-coaster) but none of my family are reeking minks like that.

9. Ye go tae Saltcoats cos ye think it is like gaun tae the ocean.

Where?

10. Ye kin make hael sentences jist wae sweer wurds.

You've seen my posts. 8)

11. Ye know whit haggis is made ae and stull like eating it.

I know what it is... but haven't eaten it since I was at school. Bit gross for my palette.

12. Somedy ye know his used a fitba schedule tae plan thur wedding day date

Do you count? :D

13. You've been at a wedding and fitba scores are announced in the Church/Chapel.

Ha-Ha!

14. Ye urny surprised tae find curries, pizzas, kebabs, fish n chips, iron-bru, fags and nappies all in the wan shop.

Nappies??

15. Yer holiday home at the seaside has calor gas under it.

Holiday home? You rich faggot!

16. Ye know irn-bru is a hangover cure.

Yes, and I'm an Irn-Bru fan.

17. Ye learnt tae sweer afore ye learnt tae dae sums.

Fuck + Fuck = Two Fucks?

18. Ye actually understand this and yurr gonnae send it tae yer pals.

Can't be arsed.......

19. Finally, you are 100% Scot if you have ever said/heard these words;

How's it hingin - yes
clatty - no
boggin - no
cludgie - no
pished - yes

erse bandit - yes
amurny - no
Away an bile yer heid - yes
peely-wally - yes
humphey backit - yes
Ba'-heid - yes

thanks bisc :)

he's really quite ill, they discovered fluid on the lungs, thankfully he's in a different hospital, the other one he was in last time is a bastard, i mean they saw shadow on the lung in the x-ray they did but said it was nothing. his diabetes in playing hell and he's had another heart attack becuase he cant breathe well from the fluid on the lungs. he's gonna be in atleast all next week, we are prepared that he goes into the High Dependancy Unit or Intensive Care tbh.

its all down really to the fact his heart bypass is failing (after 16yrs its lasted good), and his too ill to have it replaced, the aneathetist wont touch him, since there is too high a risk he will die from the anaesthetic.

Did you use a tennisball or something?
How the hell did you manage that!?

You DO know the object of the game is to knock down as MANY pins as possible? Right?

Ok I have a mental condition, which prevents me from possessing any reasonable bowling skills, subsequently resulting in zero wooing power with the ladies. No need to rub it in. :sad5:
