Personally I don't get it when people blindly always vote for the same party. So far I've only voted for the Liberal Democrats but I doubt I will next time. I have only voted 3 times mind you.

The trouble is I wouldn't want to vote for any of them. The Torries have done (and would again) completely ruin the country, their values are so removed from mine. The Liberal Democrats have struggled for many years now, hopefully now Ming has gone they can get back on form and Labour consistently lied to us over the reasons to go to War.

As to leaders Gordon Brown is probably the best of the three (based on Ming being the head of the Liberal Democrats) though. Cameron is considerably better than anything the Torries have had for years. Boy they had some lame duck party leaders.

In reality as long as UKIP (easily the most dangerous party of the lot) or The Torries don't get to power I'll be happy.

I thought FTTD was a fun film I enjoyed it.

Thanks to Momentum it looks like I will. I've no interest to download it with better DVDs to watch first.

Personally I felt that Full Tilt Boogie was the far superior film when compared to From Dusk Till Dawn.

I supported their stance on The Iraq War right from the beginning, but apart from that I couldn't bring myself to vote for a party soft on crime and drugs. The problem with liberals is that if it were left to them fuck all would get done. They'd just whine everyone into submission.

You're joking!! I don't like Cameron much, but he's obviously better than Gordon Brown, who gets his arse handed to him every PM's questions. As for the Libs I thought Charles Kennedy seemed like a smart bloke, before he took to the sauce, lol.

I saw Planet Terror last night, not a patch on Fron Dusk Till Dawn in any way.


3.5 out of 5 I would say fun and silly, there was about 8 people in the cinema, on second night at prime time floptastic.

It was a given it would flop when they don't even fucking properly release it :shock:

Well thats debatable, films can be shown on few screens and still be packed out at least it was good for me as I had no one in font of me, so it was like my own private cinema screening

I saw The Proposition at 11:30 at night and there was literally 2 other people in the cinema. It's was great

The people in the cinema with me were all cinema fans from what I could tell the way they got certain jokes etc.. they even shelled out for the "Premium" seats! bargain! pay an extras 5 quid to sit at the back in slightly better seats cash well spent that. I sat where I wanted for cheaper.

All in all its a shame Grinhouse was a pretty much shit event in the UK.

£5 WOW! They're an extra £1 in Odeon cinemas, still too much when you don't get better viewing.

Ohh maybe I am wrong then? I just heard the guys in front of me in the line say it was over £10 for a premium ticket, I was shocked! I never looked into it so dont know exactly, either way its a waste of cash to me. Unless you get a free lapdance

Planet Terror is miles better than Death Poop (imo). I thought it was fun anyway - I'd give it at least 3.5/5...

Yep. Sit an isle closer or behind and it's no different. The seats are bigger but they're already fine.

I don't understand why the Grind House version had Planet Terror first and Death Proof after that. From the quality point of view it makes sense - show the good film first and save the masterpiece for last - but the pacing is all fucked up. First you have 90 minutes fast paced rock & roll splatter action, and then comes Tarantino's dialogue lecture with only two action scenes.

Joe Average would rather see a new Tarantino movie. The man has the greater appeal/is the better known of the two filmmakers by a mile to a mainstream audience. This would've been Harv's logic.

From the quality point of view it makes sense - show the good film first and save the masterpiece for last.

I would think the Grindhouse experience should have been "Planet Terror" followed by the full lenght "Machette". Who's Tarantino ?
