I'm all over Die Hard when I get a BD Player, even at £17

. It's a pity it loses a lot of the DVD extras, not that those are a reason to keep it.

According to that review all the films have D-Box:

"Each disc also has a set of D-Box codes. D-Box is a system that will shake your chair in time to the action of the movie, provided that the chair you own is an obscenely expensive piece of equipment that no one in their right mind would buy."

Nice idea but hopelessly gimmicky.

It's not really a bargain but the first three are £14.95 at DVD.co.uk. That's cheaper than anywhere else. Pity they're likely to be Region B

p.s - The first Die Hard is uncut in the UK right?

That was the first place I checked but I tend to find the guys on this forum more reliable than DVD Compare. Not that it "probably" matters now I think about it. I'm likely to need the USA version anyway.

Apparently Die Hard 1 and Die Hard 2 German Fox BDs are Region Free:

I guess the UK BDs are too. If DH UK BD does turn out to be Region Free I'll pick it up even though I'm getting a Region A Player. They must be the only two Fox BDs that aren't region coded.
