Classic feel-good movie, a nice take on the prince-and-the pauper story, where a president-impersenator gets the real job, when the asshole real president has a stroke in the head.

Kevin Kline is a very lovable, charismatic leading man. All the cast does an outstanding job, Sigorney Weaver looks stunning, and the whole movie just has a timeless quality about it.
Just a very nice movie, predictable but enjoyable from beginning to end, and well worth watching.

Dexter - Episode 1-6.. So Far - 4/5
Marvellous, really beginning to love this series, episode 6 was pretty intense, downloaded the whole season as everyone was raving about it. Quality show, a breath of fresh air. Love the opening scene, who knew a breakfast could have murderous undertones

Very good film with some excellent action. At times the switch in tone between silly comedy and extreme violence is jarring, but great film!

Well I enjoyed it

Didn't you like the action? The back cover blurb (Sammo is out to avenge a murder etc) only occurs in the last act of the film!

Brian De Palma does Rear Window

Very good supense/mystery film, didn't initially "get" the ending though...

Amateurish.
Sort of a cross between Shanghai Grand and Miracles, but nowhere near as good.

It depends which ones you mean. Some I love but most I don't. I much prefer Jet Li and Donnie Yen films to others in the genre.

No redeeming features whatsoever.

Feels like a 5-hour epic that's been cut to shreds to fit into a 90-minute slot.
As a result, none of it makes any sense. There are no transitions between scenes, no room to breathe, no time to appreciate any kind of artistic value (if there is any).

Character development is choppy and full of continuity errors.
Oh, and none of the actors can act.

The director is clearly trying to imitate Michael Bay, but maybe he shouldn't.
Just because you can imitate crap doesn't mean that you can make it taste any better. It's still crap.
Plus (if that wasn't enough already), the CG effects are poor and the action scenes are clumsy.

This movie is bad. Not just "Michael Bay"-bad, I'm talking "Dream of a Warrior"-bad.
I'd rather remove my own eyes using a teaspoon than watch this thing again.

I've only seen Prodigal Son of that lot but on the whole Hong Kong comedy sucks, add that to the old school Kung Fu nature and the film is almost for certain be a disaster for me. Magnificent Butcher & Knockabout look awful.

Eastern Condors looks good though, but probably/possibly isn't. No we don't need a million posts saying I'm wrong. I best get that in otherwise someone won't be able to resist.

Gemini (Japan, 1999) – 1/5
Shinya Tsukamoto’s awful identity horror features some slightly interesting psychological dimentions, but it’s not enough to save the film from being a horrible mess. Tadanobu Asano appears for a few minutes and manages to bring in some dignity with his voice. The man himself is under heavy make up and looks ridiculous... which is pretty much in line with the rest of the content. The original novel by Edogawa Rampo was also used as one of the several sources for Teruo Ishii’s legendary Horrors of Malformed Men.

The final season of this brilliant show starts off superbly.what a pity it's been cancelled.sterling performances from all.how can Timothy Olyphant be so good in this and be so bland in Die Hard 4? it's the 'tach i reckon...

Actually, I agree with you

I just wanted to make a nice Cat-picture and bite your bait (NOT a gay reference btw)

I think Prodigal Son is a good movie. A classic in the genre. Most of the others that were mentioned, I've been less impressed with.

I dont care much for Eastern Condors either btw. Story is OK, but not enough good martial arts. And not all that interesting either.

The Chronicles of Riddick - 2.5/5
Far from being a piece of shit, but nothing great either. Just a fun but highly forgettable children's movie. I'd rate it about the same as Pitch Black, neither film are as good as the Riddick game though (Which easily achieves a 4/5, one of the best games on the Xbox.).
