I know this one, so I'll post in Bisc's place when he's not around: It's not Nice no Mori.

Not bad considering I've never seen the trailer or a single pic, don't know the director or any of the cast, never read a review... had heard of the title though, knew it was out on subbed R2J and that Bisc might watch something like this... And some people think you can't play this game unless you've seen the film...

Mitani Kouki, best comedy writer/director in Japan, surely you know/recognised Koji Yakusho though? He's the most famous actor in Japan!

Well done Hung!! Nobody said you can't take a wild guess... :D

Exactly Shing - I knew Yakusho would be a dead giveaway.

Now that you mention his name, I do know where I've seen Koji Yakusho. Didn't recognize him though, other than just knowing I had seen that face somewhere.

Who's the woman in the cap? I've seen her somewhere too.

Keiko Toda I believe, she's in the directors other films like Radio no jikan.

Toda Keiko, she's a Mitani Kouki regular & quite a prolific actress. Not sure what you might have seen her in - she was the wife in Quill? Be surprised if you've seen that. Have you seen Radio Jikan/Welcome Home Mr. Mcdonald? One of the few Japanese comedies your man jeroen seems to rate. She's in that anyway.

She's starred in a lot of Jdoramas as well (for instance she's densha otoko's mum in the TV version), but IIRC none with Aya Ueto.

EDIT - Looks like Lourdes beat me to it. :P

Mark has "Marry Poppins" on DVDeeeee.
What's the big deal about that? After all you thought that a children's movie about CGI surfing penguins was the equivalent to the second coming of Christ.
You're Mark's lawyer, now? Dude, this was a joke. Some people here really need to stop being uptight about EVERYTHING that is being said or joked about and just get that stick out of their ass.
If it was a joke, then don't use misleading emoticons like eye rolls.
OH MY GOOOD! THE EVIL EYE-ROLLING SMILEY!!

Seriously, we really could do with a new set of smileys on these boards, the current set is absolutely fucking useless! 100+ smilies representing total non-emotions! :alien:

She looked familiar but I don't seem to have seen any of her work.
