Arsenal v Man U: 4.25/5
What a goal at the death by Gallas!
Well, I was sent it free as a check disk by Third Window films, so figured I should watch it and will need to review it for my site... Whether I'll still get sent more check disk films is another matter after I've reviewed this one!!!Markgway wrote:If only there had been some sort of clue..... 8)degeneration wrote:Teenage Hooker Became a Killing Machine 0.5/5
What a weird, utterly crap film.
Ah, I loved the Sherry Boppins ep.grim_tales wrote:I love "The Springfield Files", "Mountain of Madness" and the one where the family hire a Mary Poppins style nanny
It's not really the sort of film to get more. It's not as if they could give the odd to any particular actress or actor.HungFist wrote:United 93 - 4,5/5
2 Oscar nominations? I wouldn've been surprised if it had received more.
You do indeed like odd films. This one tanked everywhere (to the level of "Lady in the Water"). I love Coppola's two previous films but just couldn't bring myself to see this.HungFist wrote:Marie Antoinette - 4/5

Ah shit, fucking typo. That 'n' was not supposed to be there. I basically ended up saying the opposite from what I meant. I'm an ass (and no fucking smart ass is gonna put this into their sig, ok?bradavon wrote:It's not really the sort of film to get more. What were thoughts on Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation?HungFist wrote:Marie Antoinette - 4/5

Been quite a many years since I saw Virgin but I recall it being pretty good. Translation is excellent, although I hate Anna Faris and her scenes.EvaUnit02 wrote:What were thoughts on Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation?HungFist wrote:Marie Antoinette - 4/5

Virgin Suicides I thought was decent but pretty forgettable.
I have to admit I did chuckle at the beginning when the whisky ad director is ranting and raving, throwing his hands up at Bill Murray, and all he wants him to do is look into the cameragasteropod wrote:Well why DO they swap their R's and their L's?? It IS humorous!
As Eva says that accounts for a minute aspect of the film. If all people can do is get stuck on is that in Lost in Translation they've really missed the entire point of the film.grim_tales wrote:But it WAS cheap humour at the expense of the locals.
They do that in Korea too. It did make me laugh when in Japan. Not once could they get my name (Alex) right.gasteropod wrote:Well why DO they swap their R's and their L's?? It IS humorous!
